Is it me that just thought it was amusing that the last line said

'He added: "We are not trying to avoid taxation, we are looking for a fairer, more transparent system." '

And then right below that are the following two adverts........

Umbrella Company

Every penny paid in tax is a penny wasted.

I see public sector gigs as a way of getting my tax back

Totally. Especially given that the road tax I pay every year is so much more than is actually spent on roads.

Dont kid yourself, the tax that is stolen from you is spent on paying people who dont want to work to live and to breed, and other services that I dont use.

Didnt I read that more is paid in benefits than is collected in Income Tax?

Also I dont use any facilities anyway........ You could argue that conceptually one day I might want to use NHS....

Tax should never have got above 5-10%.
