    Capital Gains?

If I close my Company down before April, does the Capital Gain count towards my "lifetime limit"?

I'm thinking it's still better to close up now before the new rules come in.

I would have thought so. Plus you will get 4 x your CGT annual exemption which will save you £5K if you have 2 equal shareholders.

But if you are going to continue contracting, there is a chance the residual proceeds will be treated as a dividend so in those circumstances, I personally wouldn't bother.
